Ted finished his playing career at Div. I Winthrop University where he was a part of two Big South Conference Championship teams and was awarded one All-Tournament team honor. He also was a four year starter at Briarcrest H.S. where was named as a three time All-Region Player and two time All-State Player. He finished his career as the schools all-time leading goal scorer with 51 goals. Ted played his club soccer for Memphis F.C. under coach Richard Bute, as well as a four year starter with the TN ODP team. With his MFC team they traveled to play games in England, Poland, and Denmark and compete against teams such as the U-16 Polish National Team.

Bartels currently is the head varsity soccer coach at Germantown H.S. for both the boys and girls while also working as the Rec Coaching Directory for the Germantown Legends.

Brandon VanCleave is currently the assistant Men’s and Women’s coach at Neosho County Community College. VanCleave's prior coaching experience came with the Saints at Limestone College a NCAA Division II school in South Carolina. He was the women’s assistant/goalkeeper coach. During his time at Limestone College he helped lead the team to a 2nd place finish in Conference Carolinas regular season, a Conference Carolinas Tournament Championship (1st time in program history), and a 1st round berth in the NCAA Tournament (1st time in program history). As the Goalkeeper coach he helped lead the goalkeeper to the All-Conference First-Team, Conference Tournament MVP, All-Region First Team, and All-American Second Team. VanCleave was also the Goalkeeper coach for South Carolina ODP and Carolina Elite Soccer Academy.

Prior to Limestone College, VanCleave was the men’s assistant coach at the University of the Ozarks (NCAA DIII) and the head coach for Arkansas ODP. Back in Memphis he coached club for the Germantown Legends and Purple Rain Soccer.

VanCleave, a native of Memphis, Tennessee, was a three-year starter at the University of the Ozarks, helping the program to a 43-15-4 record and a regular season championship in 2007. With VanCleave on the pitch, Ozarks qualified for the playoffs three times. He was a three-time All-Conference player, and was voted to the American Southwest Conference All-Tournament Team in 2007 and 2009. He ranks among the program's top-10 in points (56), goals (19) and assists (18). In the 2008-2009 season, he started for Christian Brothers University.
